What is DHI?

DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) is a technique where channel-opening and placement are done in a single step using a special pen called a Choi implanter. The time grafts spend outside the body is shortened.

How is it performed?

Harvested grafts are loaded into Choi implanters and implanted directly into the skin. By eliminating the separate channel-opening step, the method enables dense, controlled placement.

Advantages

Because follicles stay outside the body for less time, viability is preserved; dense placement and natural directional control become possible. It is also suitable for implanting between existing hair.

Who is it for?

It suits candidates seeking high density, those wanting fullness in the front and hairline, or those adding grafts between existing hair in thinned areas.

Recovery

Healing with DHI is fast and crusts shed quickly. New growth begins at months 3–4, with the final result at month 12.
